My Passion

Information Technology is a family affair! My mother, a distinguished cloud architect, and my father, a renowned SOC manager, have paved the way. Yet, it wasn't until I witnessed the transformative power of IT on my own interests that I discovered my passion for it. Regardless of the complexity of the projects I undertake, my parents are always there to guide me, answering my queries and teaching me how to excel as an IT professional.

Diploma and Certifications

I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology and expect to graduate in 2026. I hold an AWS practitioner certification and have three years of experience as an IT analyst. In addition to my studies, I am also preparing for the Security+ certification. Given the current times, prioritizing enhanced security measures is crucial.

Shining Moments in my Career!

One of my most memorable moments occurred this year. While on the night shift, I interacted with someone who claimed to be one of our doctors. They managed to pass our verification process for updating the two-factor authentication on the account. Despite the absence of major red flags, I sensed something was amiss when they abruptly ended the call after achieving their goal. I promptly reviewed past interactions with this doctor to verify if the details matched the usual caller. My findings only deepened my suspicions, leading me to involve the on-call SOC analyst immediately. The analyst swiftly determined that the individual was not the doctor and had altered the doctor's payment details to redirect the paychecks. The following morning, I received a commendation from the Security manager; my prompt actions had significant implications. It turned out to be a crucial intervention, especially considering other concurrent internal issues. Here are some recognitions from my current manager!

Projects

My latest initiative, ConSignMe Kids, aims to establish a local network for parents to sell quality clothing at fair prices and easily. Additionally, we plan to use our platform to collect gently worn clothes for children in need throughout Kentucky.
